Support Staff Vacancies

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN – 40 hours per week 

Term Time only (34 weeks per annum)

A technician is required to join the busy and well-resourced Design & Technology Department. Responsibilities include facilitating the designing and making activities of pupils and maintaining the equipment and resources of the department. Good organisation, administration and IT skills are essential. A background and an interest in related technical areas such as CAD/CAM, engineering and electronics is desirable. Experience of working in education or with young people is desirable but not essential. Additional hours and responsibilities in relation to other areas of school life may be available for the right candidate.

MINIBUS DRIVER – Term Time only (34 weeks per annum) Job share considered.

Monday – Friday Mornings: 6.00am – 9.00am and 
Monday – Friday Afternoons: 4.00pm – 7.30pm

We require an experienced driver to join our site team and transport pupils to and from the School via given pick-up points and to assist with site duties as required. A full clean UK driving licence, held for more than 3 years is essential and a category D1 and/or PCV licence is desirable. Reliability, punctuality and good communication skills are also necessary. Previous work of a similar nature or in a school environment is desirable.

ASSISTANT SITE SUPERVISOR

40 hours per week, year round, flexible shift pattern on a rota to include weekends

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Supervisor to provide an efficient and effective service to the School and its users. The role is to facilitate the smooth running of daily school functions and to respond, as appropriate, to out of hours’ emergencies. Candidates should have a basic understanding of security, health and safety and porterage and be able to use their initiative. The position will also involve driving the school minibus, when necessary, for which training will be provided.

Experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
