Support Staff Vacancies

Assistant Site Supervisor

40 hours per week flexible shift pattern on a rota to include weekends

Fixed term contract to 30 June 2018

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Supervisor to provide an efficient and effective service to the School and its users. The role is to facilitate the smooth running of daily school functions and to respond, as appropriate, to out of hours emergencies. Candidates should have a basic understanding of security, health and safety and porterage and be able to use their initiative. The position will also involve driving the School minibus when necessary for which training will be provided.

Experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Hospitality Manager

40 hours per week flexible hours required

Fixed term contract to 30 June 2018

The School is seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient and committed individual to manage and implement an excellent, high-quality hospitality service to internal and external clients. The post-holder will have proven experience of working in a busy department, managing staff and organising events. Proven experience of working in a catering environment, knowledge of food hygiene and statutory food related regulations is essential. Applicants should also have excellent communication, presentation, customer service and IT skills.

HR Officer

35 hours a week

Fixed term contract to 30 June 2018

The School requires an experienced HR Officer to support the HR department in delivering high quality HR support to the School as well as ensuring regulatory compliance with safer recruitment requirements. Applicants must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, capable of multi-tasking and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and knowledge of safer recruitment procedures is desirable but not essential.

Examinations Invigilators

Flexible Hours

The School is seeking to recruit a further pool of reliable examination invigilators to assist with the conduct of internal and external exams throughout the year. Invigilation experience would be an advantage, although full training will be given. Punctuality, reliability and integrity are essential attributes. Hours are variable between 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday – Friday, according to examination schedules.
