Academic Vacancies

Director of Sport

Required for September 2018, a dynamic and suitably experienced candidate able to lead and develop the running of sport at the School. We are seeking a creative and inspiring leader who will develop the strategic agenda of this highly successful element of the School with the aim of promoting excellence in sport as well as sport for all. The appointee will be an outstanding coach in at least one of the School’s major sports and will also be expected to contribute as appropriate to the pastoral life of the School.

Support Staff Vacancies

Examination Invigilators

Flexible Hours

The School is seeking to recruit a further pool of reliable examination invigilators to assist with the conduct of internal and external exams throughout the year. Invigilation experience would be an advantage, although full training will be given. Punctuality, reliability and integrity are essential attributes. Hours are variable between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, according to exam schedules.

Design and Technology Technician

40 hours per week: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

36 weeks per annum (term time plus 10 days)

A technician is required to join the busy and well-resourced Design and Technology Department. Responsibilities include facilitating the designing and making activities of pupils and maintaining the equipment and resources of the department. Good organisation, administration and IT skills are essential. A background and an interest in related technical areas such as CAD/CAM, engineering and electronics is desirable. Experience of working in education or with young people is desirable but not essential. Additional hours and responsibilities in relation to other areas of school life may be available for the right candidate.

HR Administrator - Learning and Development 

25 hours per week, year round

The School requires an effective administrator to support the HR department in providing a high quality Learning and Development service. Applicants must have excellent administration, communication, organisational and IT skills. Working as part of a small, friendly team the successful candidate will be a strong team player, capable of multi-tasking and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Previous experience of working within schools is desirable but not essential.
