Congratulations to OJ George Kruis who has been announced as part of England’s Rugby World Cup squad for the upcoming 2015 campaign.
Kicking off on 18 September against Fiji, the line-up also includes young guns George Ford, Henry Slade and rugby league convert Sam Burgess, alongside seasoned players Chris Robshaw, James Haskell and Danny Care.
Saracens lock Kruis has worked hard in recent years to make the cut for England, debuting at Twickenham only a few months ago in November 2014, where he came on as a replacement for the injured Courtney Lawes against the All Blacks.
New Director of Sport at St John’s Lauren Moors commented, “We were thrilled to hear that George has been selected for the World Cup squad. He has been an asset both to school rugby and to Dorking RFC in recent years, and we are very excited to cheer him on as part of the England team.”
