One of the School’s pupils has been recognised in the BAFTA Young Game Designer Awards for two years running.
Scott Parker (Lower Fifth, Churchill) entered a computer game he designed into the national gaming competition for the first time in 2015, and was invited to the award ceremony at the BAFTA headquarters in London after his entry made the shortlist of top ten games.
In 2016, his new game, entitled “System Guardian” was again shortlisted to the final ten, and nominated for an award.
Now in its sixth year, the competition continues to gain momentum, supported by HRH The Duke of Cambridge in his role as President of the BAFTA’s Young Game Designers initiative, alongside Criterion Games, Google and Sony Computer Entertainment.
