St John’s welcomed high flyers from a number of industries on Wednesday 9 November, to speak with pupils at the School’s careers fair.
The event was a great success, with over 35 representatives from engineering, finance, law, psychology, medicine, the armed forces, charities, media and the arts. Over 350 pupils and parents attended the evening, which featured talks from Albertha Charles, Partner at PwC and Peter Sargent, Head of Transaction Banking at Citibank.
Anna from Ski Le Gap commented on the evening: “What a very well organised and successful careers fair. I was pleased to find the St John’s pupils polite and engaging, a credit to the School.”
Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Head of Careers Sophie Westerby-Jones commented: “The careers fair was a great success. The pupils left brimming with careers ideas and enthusing about their futures. Many pupils also made useful contacts and secured work experience placements.”
