Exciting opportunities have opened up for two of St John's Lower Sixth netball players Katie Littlewood and Grace Sullivan.
Katie has achieved a place in the under 18 Surrey Storm squad, only two levels below the professional players. Katie trains every three weeks with the squad.
Grace recently undertook the U21 trials for Surrey Storm and was selected. Grace is now a U21 Surrey Storm Squad Member and just one step away from becoming a Super League player. Grace is also training with the National Performance League (NPL) every Tuesday alongside her U21's training.
Grace commented "It's great to train with the league as everyone is supportive. Older players go out of their way to mentor new players, so I am very excited for the season as I can gain experience as the U21 squad trains alongside the Superleague, allowing my netball to develop even more."
Congratulations to both Katie and Grace for a job well done.
