The Lower School cake sale was a roaring success on Thursday 9 March. As soon as the stall opened pupils thronged to the table, determined to be the first to choose from the selection on sale. There were cupcakes of every colour and variety, rocky road, flapjacks, biscuits and slices. Lower School pupils volunteered to run the cake sale till and the tutor team oversaw the proceedings, ensuring everyone could access the wide array of sweets and treats.
The cake sale raised £155 for the Lower School charity, Harrison’s Fund who are working to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Miss Finnegan commented "I was so impressed with the range of cakes and treats pupils brought in. Well done to everyone involved!" A number of pupils and parents are competing in the Surrey 5km and half marathon race this weekend to raise even more funds for this wonderful charity.
