Support Staff Vacancies


Design and Technology Technician

40 hours per week
Term Time only (34 weeks per annum)

A technician is required to join the busy and well-resourced Design & Technology Department. Responsibilities include facilitating the designing and making activities of pupils and maintaining the equipment and resources of the department. Good organisation, administration and IT skills are essential. A background and an interest in related technical areas such as CAD/CAM, engineering and electronics is desirable. Experience of working in education or with young people is desirable but not essential. Additional hours and responsibilities in relation to other areas of school life may be available for the right candidate.

Compliance Officer

35 hours a week, year round

The School requires an effective administrator to manage compliance activities across the School, including relevant legislation and Independent School Inspectorate Regulations and supporting the HR department. Applicants must have excellent administration, communication, organisational and IT skills. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, capable of multi-tasking and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

Weekend Minibus Drivers

Ad-hoc hours as required

We require occasional weekend minibus and MPV drivers to assist in our sports calendar. Duties would involve transporting sports teams and other school trips to and from venues as well as carrying out pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensuring all required safety checks, maintenance and cleaning of the School fleet is completed to the highest standards. A full clean UK driving licence with a D1 (101) category, held for more than 3 years, is essential and a category D1 PCV licence is desirable. Reliability, punctuality and good communication skills are also necessary. Previous work of a similar nature or in a school environment is desirable.
