Activities and Societies

Overview

Pupils are encouraged to try the vast array of activities available. The mixture and breadth of activities is an essential tool in helping the pupils to develop as well-rounded individuals with a broad spectrum of interests.

The activities reflect a range of pursuits that might be regarded as traditional co-curricular clubs, as well as branching into new and exciting activities. The options available are driven around the interests of our staff and our pupils.

From Japanese to Chess Club, from honing cricket skills to building a hovercraft or philosophical debates: you name it, you can do it. All of these are on top of Art, Music, Drama, Combined Cadet Force, Duke of Edinburgh and the Community Service Unit. These clubs and activities add an extra layer to your child's experiences at St John’s, providing the opportunity to unearth new skills and interests.
