OJ Saturday

We were delighted to welcome so many OJs back to the School for OJ Saturday. The event was combined with the official opening of the Chris Tongue Pavilion.

Despite a few showers and grey skies, a great day was had by all, although most OJs chose to eat the delicious barbeque lunch in the Dining Hall rather than on the Quad due to the inclement weather. While in the Dining Hall, OJs could enjoy the archive displays prepared by Sally Todd on various aspects of the School history including an OJ author exhibition, a cricket display and the story of EL Churchill and Churchill House display.

Outside on the Quad, there was a wide range of activities for adults and children to enjoy when the sun did come out, with a bouncy castle, crazy golf course, archery and the traditional croquet match between OJs and staff versus pupils. Tours of the School were also arranged so that OJs could see the recent developments that have taken place in the School, including the newly refurbished cricket pavilion.  OJs could also support the 1st XI who were playing against Epsom College.
