My St John's

OJ Events

The Development Department hosts a number of events over the year for our St John’s Community, and we would be delighted if you would like to join us on any of the occasions. Most recently we held one of our biggest alumni reunions of the year, OJ Saturday, which was a fantastic event and we are looking forward to our second reunion of the year, the OJ Dinner. We have also launched a number of professional networking groups and continue to run favourites such as the London Walk.

We have a lot coming up this year so make sure you have a read and stay up to date through our newsletters. If you have any event ideas we would love to hear them. Contact Development@stjohns.surrey.sch.uk to let us know your thoughts or if you would like to know more about any of our upcoming events.

Please refer to the Arts and Events listings for details of other School events taking place.

OJ Dinner 2018

Friday 12 October 2018 from 7.00pm

This year, the OJ Dinner will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of the foundation of Montgomery House and we are delighted that Alex Macqueen (Monty 1990-1992) will be our guest speaker. Best known for his character as ‘Neil’s Dad’ in The Inbetweeners, Alex Macqueen has appeared on stage, film and TV, including Holby City, Peep Show and The Thick of It, to name a few.

Richard Rhodes and Mike Comer, the first housemasters of Monty will also be attending the dinner and we do hope you will be able to join us at St John’s.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at £40 and £20 concessions for leavers from 2012 and include a drinks reception and three-course meal with wine and coffee.

Tables seat up to 10 so if you want to reserve a table for you and your contemporaries, do let us know.
